If you had the funds to go anywhere for a week vacation, which dive destination would you visit?

Well, you know! From my sugar daddy! (that’s YOU by the way!) I was actually thinking of Bora Bora but any of the ones that you mentioned will do, I guess. So when do you want to leave?

My dream trip has always been the Sardine Run off South Africa but I think I’m getting to old to be climbing in and out of cold water into a RIB all day :(

I would love to dive Malaysia, Sipidan Island in particular. I know you can’t dive there a week straight due to limitations put in place to maintain conservation. But even three days out of seven would be sweet. South East Asia is where it’s at. I’d also love to do Papua New Guinea or the Solomon Islands. Those are probably my top three.

Bikini atolls. Diving in all that history in such a beautiful place, has to be breathtaking.

Good to hear, I dove Bunaken Island in Indonesia, Ras Mohammed/Straits of Tiran in Egypt...both were highlights of my diving...Hawaii was neat due to all the endemic species they there...I’ve also been to Roatan, Bonaire, and Grand Cayman...Caribbean just can’t compete with the variety of species (coral, fish, invertebrates) the other parts of the world have to offer.

For me is obvious..my homeland Puerto Rico...for many reasons...1. I missed my island.. joined the military in 1997 and lived in the mailand ever since....2. 90% of my relatives live there. 3. I dont have to pay for hotel...( stay w Dad or mother in law) 4. Diving is excellent 5. I can drive from one side to the other in 3 hours...6. Can dive all year long 7. When sea conditions are bad in the north west side they are excellent in the south (an viceversa - that just happened in my last trip.. sea conditions were bad in the West..( Mayagues-Aguadilla) so I dove in the south - (Ponce) 6. I know my way around...7. I speak Spanish fluently...7. I dont need a passport to go .....PR is US Territory...So when I go I have never left the USA...
