I am also a "new" diver. Dove in Grand Cayman and Cozumel, both trips booked as cruiseship excursions in 2005. Enjoyed the drift dive in Cozumel so much that I talked my brother and Dad into flying down 8/25 - 9/1, 2007. The current on the drift dive in Cozumel was not as strong as I was led to believe, the walls are amazing and the visibility was fantastic. Plus, the dive operators will take very good care of you.
