I think there is a natural tendency to resist regulation. To push back against any person or entity that would limit what you can or cannot do in the public environment.

We have the domestic terrorists shielding themselves with "militia" in order to steal a resource that belongs to all three hundred plus million of us to turn it over to a few to either own outright or use without compensating the true owners. Us, the ones who have paid taxes over the years to protect and improve this land. Or even the original owners whom we stole it from.

The public treasures that some might want to use for their own selfish pleasure or profit also belong to our grandkids and their kids. Do you not want them to be able to see reefs and turtles and whales someplace besides an aquarium or video?

Do you think those current alive have the inherent right to steal the future from our descendants? That mining companies should be able to dig wherever and whenever. That there is nothing special about Zion or the Grand Canyon. That rivers are suited to be sewers.

As to climate change. Ignore the NOAA data that says 2015 was the hottest ever. If there is cold temp or snow in your area then how could the planet possibly be warming. Ignore the photos showing shrinking glaciers. The usual retort is that it’s natural. Yes there have been cycles before with time for species to evolve to new conditions, But never has there been one within the space of a few dozen years. And what do you see that liberals get out of efforts to reduce the rate?

Finally. What if climate change is real and accelerating. What if there is a point of no return. Are you going to brag to your grandkids how you stood by and watched it happen, but your politics kept you from helping. Are you going to say SORRY ME BAD.
