Martha’s Quarry is still open and access hasn’t improved at all - I’ve dove it 2 times this year. It is a very rutted dirt road that leads into the woods where you park wherever you can find a hole between the trees. Then you gear up at your vehicle and have a 50 to 100 yard hike to the water. No air fills, no dive shop, no equipment, etc. so you are 100% self sufficient when you get there. Making a 2 tank dive? Then you and your buddy are bringing 4 tanks with you. If you break a fin strap then you have a 25-30 mile drive to find a dive shop to get a replacement.
Once you get in the water the diving is decent but in my opinion it is worth the drive to get a little further away to have a much nicer diving experience.
