I sure hope the line you use, regardless of the length, is on a quick disconnect clip. It wouldn`t be much fun to be pulled around on your own fish stringer by a shark. I would only do this in fresh water also. What about some kind of ballon or float, or pully system that gets the fish up to the surface so someone on the boat can collect them?
