The posts are correct, Michigan temperatures change quickly and drastically. I was diving Otter Lake yesterday and in about 28’ of water the temp was about 50 degrees. Yet the air temp on surface was almost 80. My opinion is to obtain (if you dont have) these certifications for Michigan-
1. Drysuit- well worth it!
2. Limited Viz
3. Deep Diving (Great Lakes have a lot to offer)
4. Wreck diving
This is just my opinion, but anyone that lives around here would agree I think. Where are you moving to?
