I am still using my DC 500 and it works great. that said way a while until the DC1200 come out and the 1000s will go down in price.
that said I do not know if or when the 1200s will arrive, dont work for the company or have stock in them. :-)
I do like the ability to use all the same accessories with the newer systems as they come out. Always a plus in my book.
