I have a purge mask and I love it. I do not like the slightest bit of water getting in my mask. The purge allows easy clearing for the water that settles just below the nose. I have other masks too, but this one is always the one I grab.
I have been told that the purge valve can fail, I keep a 2nd mask handy and on most dives I attach it to my BC just incase I need to swap out down below.
