[Choose #3] Loved the purge on my old mask but not able to find acceptable replacement

[Choose #2] I would like to get one with a valve though.

[Choose #2] Purge valves are not needed and just create a failure poing for leakage. The flapper can dry out or sand/debris can get caught.

[Choose #2] purge valve is good on full face mask but for leisure diving better keep your conventional mask so not to forget how to clear a mask. Keep diving equipment simple, safe and reliable.

[Choose #2] To many problems with purge valves, once you have learned to clear a mask without a purge valve you will never have a mask with one again

[Choose #2] its just something else to break. mask clearing is not really an issue without one anyway

[Choose #2] Purge valves fail either with age or sand. It is an easy fix, but not on a trip if they don’t have your model.

[Choose #2] I used a purge valve when I started but soon moved on to a low profile tech style mask... alot easier and faster to clear was my main reason for changing..that and the lighter wieght on your face...

[Choose #1] Great when straight and level but tends to flood if you "fly" inverted or do barrell rolls.

[Choose #1] valve popped out 1 time in 9 years 10 minutes into a 70’ dive, finished dive by keeping bottom of mask toward the bottom, cleared frequently and 2 buddies didn’t know I had a problem until I told them when back on the boat.

[Choose #2] The purge valve on a mask is just another piece that can break, so I opt for a regular mask.

[Choose #1] My first mask had it so i have been diving with one since 2002. I love it.

[Choose #2] IMO, purge just adds one more thing that can go wrong.

[Choose #1] i love my purge valve, but once the valve got stuck open while on a dive and my mask continued to flood. this has never happened again. but could have been an issue had i been deeper.

[Choose #1] Love my purge valve. Been diving with it for over 4yrs w/ no issues. It does make it easier to clear. However, (hopefully I don’t jinx myself) if the seal pops off, then your trip is over unless you carry a backup.

[Choose #2] Do those purge valves ever fail? I’ve always just thought it’s just one more moving part that can fail.

[Choose #2] Have never tried one with a purge valve. My wife is considering getting one, because her neck is a little stiff. We’ll see how it works.

[Choose #3] It seams I fog up the mask with purge more then one without. But when my mask floods from laughing at my buddy I can clear it easier.
