I’m definitely in for Saturday and Sunday. Dutch is not open on Thursdays or Fridays until May, so you won’t be able to dive those days in the week you have selected. The following week you could start Thursday, May 2, or Friday, May 3.
Not sure my fingers and face are up for 3 or 4 dives a day this early in the season with the water temps in the high 40s, but I’ll give it a shot. You can probably count on me for your first and third dive each day and the night dive for sure. I might be good for 3 or 4 a day if the air is warm for fast recovery between dives, and especially since we would be doing single tank (i.e. shorter) dives. My usual M.O. is to dive double 85s or double 72s on a longer dive, but this season I’m trying something different by doing some "vintage style" single tank diving with my new Argonaut Kraken regulator and/or my newly restored DA Aquamaster.
Let’s meet up Saturday morning at 8 and plan the days from there.

Mark that sounds like a plan. I know what you mean about the cold, bought a thermalution heated shirt to help, but that wont help with my face lol. So it will be a play it by ear deal for me as to how many dives we do. Traveling 5 hours from pgh to get there so trying to get as much as is reasonable. Looked up the schedule and saw that it’s only Saturday and Sunday for that week. Driving in Friday so I’m ready and rested. Count wait to check out your kraken, see you then

Cant wait. I got in the water last weekend to blow the dust off. It was refreshing, 43 surface and 39 at depth. I got better boots now lol

MrBigFins: What time do you want to meet up at Dutch on Saturday? Do you have a preference as to which entry you want to dive from (Peninsula, Student Area, or Cul-de-Sac)?

I am open to diving any of the areas. My only previous experience at Dutch was diving from what I assume would be the Cul de sac, near the waterpark area. Also have only ever been there later in the year. Got wet at crustys quarry so i shook the dust off, and found i needed better boots for early season diving in Pa.
Was planning to be at the park for the 8 am open on Sat.
