Hello , Mark here - avid diver - advanced and more - but purely recreational- just landed a job in south Florida- originally from Orlando- who wants to dive- have means - willing to travel anywhere on weekends - coast shores, keys - jump in my truck and go- I also have spare gear if someone needs to borrow

There’s a few of us that try and get out to some of the fresh water sites, maybe you’d like to try it some time? Not opposed at all to a good ocean dive, but prefer to do a simple dive first, as I usually try to avoid "babysitter" boats. Don’t mind diving with newer divers, but expect honesty in dive experience, will not knowingly dive beyond a buddies "comfort zone", and expect adherence to site safety regulations (like no-light rules and stopping @ Grimm Reaper in sites with caves).

Hey Amanda, I have buddy, but their lives get real busy and may not see them for weeks or even months leaving me buddy less. I see that you are in Lakeland, that is 25 to 40 mins (depending where in Lakeland) from me, in Zephyrhills. I am looking for people fairly local, if you would like to do a spring sometime, that would be great and just let me know.

Sounds like a good crew of swfl folks - I’m out of ft Myers and would love to get into any and all of that - it does seem like the freshwater stuff is a little closer. Just finished adv Nitrox and Deco procedures and want to get out and practice with my new doubles!

I’ll be in Big Pine Apr 26- May 3...I’m advanced/Nitrox with about 150 dives...love to dive with you if you’re around and weather/waves cooperate! Visit an elderly friend there most every year and usually dive alone, unless I can get one of my married with kids to come along! Right. Be fun to dive with a buddy! I am a rancher from NM/AZ and LOVE DIVING...I’d rather dive than eat.

Hey all I live in Jacksonville, FL. I am currently in California right now, due to father passed away this past Monday. I am looking at trying to dive at least once a month. I have a dive buddy that I met from site, but he is staying busy. I will be back the 25th, so maybe anyone on here I can hook up with for a dive in May.

Maybe when I head back to Florida we can dive together it is a pain in the butt that boats make you buddy up. Go to Key Largo was there on Saturday dove the Spiegel grove it was so worth it.

I am getting back into diving and I am looking for a dive buddy that is reliable. I have been a diver since 1986. I am looking for a reliable diver. Someone that can communicate. My Late wife and me use to dive almost every weekend in the strip mines of Minnesota. We moved to Sarasota FL in 1986 where we would dive off the coast of Sarasota FL. We did this until she became ill in 2008. and I have not dived since then. She passed away in Dec. 2013. My PADI Cards are current, but I am looking at a refresher course to make sure I am up to date. I will be updating all my equipment in the next few weeks and I am looking for a reliable partner to dive with. In the passed I have dealt with many divers, men are the worst. They will just go on their own way without connecting with me. Whereas the women I have dived with have always let me know what is going on, so maximum safety was involved. I have had instaces where another diver has had regulater failure and gave them my octopus to return to the surface. When I lived in Minnesota I was a recreational diver and worked for the local fire and police department as a diver. Where do you dive? I’m in Melbourne, and I dive the east coast and Keys. My regular dive buddy is my brother in Jacksonville, but he can’t get down here to dive as much as I would like.
