I’m already commited to dinner with family but keep warm. I did see someone in the Harry Wright lake yesterday either checking gear or using a metal detector.

Soon...but Easter even I have to pass on. I was just looking out the window at work, looks beautiful today...and I thought to myself, I wonder if anyone has done any wetsuit diving yet in NJ?

Everyone has backed out. Let’s think about next weekend. Greg

What time is the tide? I would consider next weekend. Also, what temp is the water? I’m pretty resistant to the cold, just curious.

Round Valley opens on 4/1/16 - did sneak in early? Night dives get such a bad rap.. lol Fri night at the SR inlet - surface was 55 and at 19 feet it was 43 degrees.

Mike, Next Saturday High tide is around 3:40. Expect the water to be just below 50 Greg

And you guys looking to do the RR bridge or Shark River? How was the visibility on Shark River Carl? Did you do the spot by the apartments or under the bridge?
Nevermind, next week is Beneath the Sea, I am going to go there on Sunday with my wife and friend, I’ll take a rain check for the diving.
Under the bridge - played there for a while - only a few fishermen on the inlet. Maybe 2 foot viz due to the wave action all week - but I wanted to dive so I went knowing it would not be great.

Very cool - I have been diving in a pond waiting for RV to open back up... when the Shore viz drops I like Round Valley - closer and cheaper than Dutch for me and my son.

You using the new dry suit or diving wet?
Dry - have about 10 dives on it now. I like it - just ask me again in the summer heat that will be the test.
