I really like diving at the Spillway at Lake Pleasant, it’s just past the 10-lane boat ramp on the south side of the lake.

I also really like diving from the Windy Hill recreation site at Roosevelt Lake!

Nice, in your experience does the vis change at different parts of the lake? Last weekend it was junk at Fireman’s Cove (boat traffic).

Yes, the viz can be drastically different at various dive sites on the very same day! If you can get on a boat and dive from one of the islands away from shore is the best viz. Also, the Old dam usually has pretty good viz. But that can vary by depth also, on the top of the old dam you could have 20’ of viz, but drop down to 100’ and have zero! drop a few feet more and get +40’! But with each of those viz changes you typically have a thermocline change. At 60’ the temp could be 80 degrees, drop to 100’ and the temp drops to 60 degrees, go down to 120’ and it drops to 50 degrees.

I regularly dive Lake Pleasant at the end of Desert Tortoise Rd but I’ve been known to take a dip now and then at Canyon Lake and I really like Lake Mohave.

I dive the Lake Pleasant spillway a lot, myself! Hook up with El Mar Dive Center in Mesa. One of their regulars owns a huge pontoon boat, The Diver Down, fitted for several divers. They go out regularly to Tech Island at Lake Pleasant which has great depth and decent viz. Great group of divers, too. With my schedule I’ve only been able to make it out once, so fun to be around the tech divers but plenty of rec divers on that boat, too.
