If you think in low budget, you can rent a bungallow but some don´t include pickup rental and tanks.Buddy dive ,where I stayed is a very good hotel and if you want,a boat can take you to Klein, about 10 min from buddy´s pier. But if you want a wild one, there is another option:a dive in the other side of Bonaire at the edge of the park. There is a tech wreck too and beautiful Hilma.

Talk to Aircarl. He likes to go there with his wife. He is planning a trip there this year also so he probably has current info.

I have dove on Bonaire for the past several years and have stayed in several places. You can get good deals on rental property (condos, houses) via the web. If you intend to stay more than a week, this is a cheaper option. If only a week, then Capt Don`s Habitat or Buddy Dive are good options. They both have good package offers and the house reefs are teaming with fishlife (a photographer`s dream). I have used Caradonna Travel for the past couple of trips and they did a nice job of organizing everything...enjoy your trip

Nathan, I answer to the question as far as finding a buddy, you will not have problem. We have a small resort here on Bonaire and we do get quite a few "single" divers. They nomally come to breakfast, meeting the other guests, talking and diving with them. We have some guests that have made such good friends that they always return at the same time of year! Another option is the dive shop you utilize. I know the majority of them, including Wannadive (ours) has a board for people looking for dive buddies. It is actually really easy to get someone to dive with on Bonaire. Hope this helps. Liz
