 Ultra-Ever Dry, Repels Water. Could we use this in the scuba industry?

What applications could we use this for in the scuba diving industry? Boats? Gear? I just want some of it to play with.

This was posted on the Land Rover forum yesterday. I think it does have it’s uses (like maybe repelling salt) and I’ll bet it would make the co-efficiency of a ship hull near unstoppable. I’m just not willing to drop the $160 plus tax and S/H for a quart to try it.

I wonder how hydrodynamic we would be if we coated our BC and wetsuit with it :). If we put it on our fins, we might not get anywhere! We would just tread in place.

So I’m interested but not brave enough to try Rain-X in my mask. Just think of how things would go using this stuff and getting it into your eyes - they would never get wet again! LOL

That’s a good point. I wonder if anyone has tried rainx on their mask.
