Heading to Meridian MS on March the first for work. Looking for do some diving within around 100 miles from there on my days off. I am going to be there for around a month. Any one interested or have any suggestions?

Nothing much around Meridian, MS within 100 miles. Your best bet is to take a trip to the Gulf and find some dive sites there. There are a couple dive sites along the MS coast listed on Scuba Earth. And drive a little further and you’re in Pensacola FL where you can dive the USS Oriskany.

I plan on doing the Oriskany this summer. I travel all over the States for weeks at a time with work and always try to find local places to dive. Usually I only get Sundays off so I am limited on distance that I can travel with work.

There is a quarry in Pelham, Al. that’s about a 100 miles from Meridian. My LDS in Jackson uses it for their classes.
