12MP, that’s awesome! Price seems good to. Just get a large memory card to go along with it so you don’t have to worry about running out of space. It would be cool to record an entire dive, hands free.

BTW, if you do purchase this from LeisurePro, use the following link first:

They will throw a couple bucks my way to help maintain this site :)

Excuse me, but oh dude thanks for putting me on to this! Every one who is a photographer knows lighting makes the photo. with some handheld lighting this should produce some awesome pics. One must know how to set it in the environs in which you are going first. Then, as anything else, pick those that turn out. Photography is seldom 100%!!! Practice, practice, practice! Just like in medicine!

The only issue I have with these is the best u/w pictures require you to get close, real close to your subject. I can reach out with my camera to something toothy like a moray or shark, are you really going to put your face in there :)

I thoroughly enjoy snorkeling, particularly in the mornings, after enjoying my coffee while sitting on the beach with my feet in the surf. There is an 8 megapixel version of this that is only good for 15 ft but the price is only $99+ shipping from Leisure Pro! If only I had had this while cruising around with a couple of cuttle fish one morning!

Hey Greg, thanks for the link, am purchasing a dive computer soon (As well as most of my future gear!) from Leisure Pro and will certainly use this link prior to any future purchase! The staff there are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating and who can complain about saving money plus helping to keep this site afloat (Pun intended ;)!!!

Grag, you might want to figure out how to let every one know about that link and others like it. We need to help you keep the site going.
