I just signed up for divebuddy and received e-mails straight to my in box. Can someone tell how or where my e-mail address is showing up. One guy does not even dive or live in the US.

If they send you a comment and you hit reply instead of using the link they get your email address.

Thanks for the reply and info. But I have sent no one anything back and have not answered any buddy request yet. Anymore ideas?

I maybe wrong but if someone sends you a message and are not yet your friend it may go to your email instead of showing up here, again not positie on that. Then after that I think what Lat says may apply IMHO.

Can you forward me samples of the emails you received? BTW, I’m the owner of this site. Try to include the member ID number or user name in the message. Just visit my profile and send me a message, then copy the contents of the emails you received in the body of the message. I’ll look into it and get back to you with an answer.

I wish I could I received two direct e-mails from a person in Mexico calling themselves Happiness. I deleted them and emptied my deleted file. If I get more how can attach them to a forum reply?
