It’s not a pipe dream...:) I just decided not to do it yet since not many people said they would keep track of their dives online. It’s hard enough to get students to fill out their log book manually after a dive, let alone get home and transpose everything onto a computer. I may still do this in the future if I get time though.

Thanks for the suggestion Matt. I like this idea. Log book? What’s a log book? On the other hand....how the heck do I even download my dive log from my computer? I spent 2 hours with tech support the other day to no avail. Since I log onto Divebuddy almost daily, it would be a convenient way to keep track. Also a good way to automatically update the dive site page so we can see for real who dives where.

Although it is technically a log, I think this would be a great way to share my dives with friends and family. I did something similar to this when I backpacked through Europe. I had a travel blog. Before I knew it, I had quite a following of family and friends. Keep up the great work, Matt

I think that’s a great idea. It just might be the motivation I need to help keep track of my dives. It’s also another excuse for me to log on to dive buddy.

I thank it would be great. You could also have a rating system to see other people’s opines about different dive spots around this big world of ares

I thought this would be a good idea as well. A local dive shop does have this option on their website, but not many people, including myself, actually use it.
