I saw Whale Sharks!

OMB! I’m in Placencia,Belize and diving with Roberts Grove. We went out today on a whale shark dive and got lucky and actually saw some. It was amazing! A 20ft juvenile was actually pretty curious of us and got pretty close. The bigger ones were always in the distance. If you ever get the chance to do it, it’s definetly worth it!

I love whalesharks. Am lucky enough to have snorkeled with them on multiple occasions. I also adopted 5 whalesharks and named them after the Rolling Stones (Yes, I’m a dork)


I had my encounters between Roatan and Utila. The only spot in the world you can see these creatures feed vertically. Great!

I think I might get spoked seeing something that big, espcially if it got curious and starting coming over towards us... but that still is awsome!
