A four day campout at Jade Cove has been reserved for huge number. We at HCDT have got together with Ken Kollwitz-Channe Island Dive Adventures (CIDA) and we’re going on their Club Campout, AVDesertDivers will also be there. As it is we have space 37 booked for the 12th-14th and it can hold up to 8, (extra cars might be 5 bucks?) and just Jeff and I in that one, we’ll share wit 6 more. Ken has said that if divers come up with/out reservations, we’ll fit you in. Watching the conditions there have been 5-8ft swells lately. High winds can whip up. The largest raw jade deposit in the world. Divers can take jade below the mean high water tide mark, without mining tools. The place is famous for large storms breaking jade chunks off. Thick kelp, like that matters for us Southern Califonia divers!!
