ThashFest is the nation’s oldest underwater cleanup. To improve the quality of the Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas. The Comal River is the shortest river in the world. The 2.5-mile Comal River is one of the largest springs in Texas with 8 million gallons every hour. The water is pure, clear, and about 73 degrees year round, and attracts thousands of tubers.
Up to eight (8) people per team - divers and non-divers are welcome.
Team members may rotate between diving and grounds crew, as long as at least two members are out of the water at all times.
All individual entrants will be assigned to a team if they do not already have one.
Any team with less than eight people may be assigned more people as individuals register.
All divers MUST present C-Cards at registration.

• 08:00 AM - 10:00 AM Registration at Comal County Fairgrounds, Teams will be released for diving as soon as they have completed registration. No waiting around for a meeting. You can register any time between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. All team members must be present (with C-Cards) to register.
• 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM Diving in assigned areas of the Comal River
• 12:00 PM - 03:00 PM Diving in any part of the Comal River
• 03:00 PM All Trash Due at Check-In Site (Prince Solms Park)
• 05:00 PM - 08:00 PM Dinner followed by Awards and Door Prizes
Pre-registration is available until September 26th. Registration is on the day of the event, from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM, at the Comal County Fairgrounds. See map below for location and directions. Team entry fee is $50 per team and individual entry fee is $8 per person. All participants will be required to sign the Trashfest Waiver (available at registration).
