Went diving here on 3/25/2017. Average viz: 10-15 ft at best. Water surface temp 61°F, no thermocline but chilly deeper: 53°F at 60 ft. Lake about 94% full - edge of water at most 10-15 ft from parked cars. Lots of floating debris at shoreline (branches, bits of wood) due to previous runoff.
Saw a few good-sized fish ~10-12" both in mid-water & near the bottom (~20-30 ft). One definitely seemed to show "nesting behavior" - protecting a rocky area of the bottom roughly 6x6’ - single fish would circle my buddy & I, then stopped & stared at me maybe 1 ft from my mask, then would circle once or twice, stop & stare again for at least 30 sec. Circled us again at least once more as we swam away. "Yes we rude humans will leave your nursery alone!" LOL

Bright and early night dive for first dive. Visibility is opening up nicely despite the water level still being low. Not many fish, 1 carp on each dive and a good size school of shiners at about 110 feet on the second dive. Surprisingly, not many divers were trying to get there first thing in the morning.

Almost no critters to see in hot summer weather, viz very poor in summer due to prolific algae. Great example of a thermocline - very drastic in summer. Find the sudden dropoff to go deeper.

Went diving on 8/13/2016, in the water just after 11am. Viz: 5-7 ft down to ~35 ft. Water temp down to ~35 ft: 83-89°F. Water temp below thermocline, below ~35-45 ft: 73-78°F. Viz below thermocline: 10 ft at most. Saw maybe 5 fish total after 3 dives, including a sunfish ~9-10" long at about 20-25 ft, 2 unidentified fish at least 12-15" long at about 25-35 ft. Saw the table & chairs with the fake skeleton ~25 ft, grandfather clock at ~52 ft. Dive buddy found a pair of sunglasses in very good condition.

Full 3mm wetsuit with 7mm BARE hooded step in jacked on top.
Only about 5 ft vis and warm water until 50 ft depth due to algae, below 50 ft there was a steep temperature drop and vis became 20-25 ft.
