Vicky’s Reef is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in San Salvador, Bahamas. This dive site has an average rating of 4.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 61-70ft/19-21m. The average visibility is 81-90ft/25-27m.
This dive site is characterized by consisting of a reef that is nothing more than a coral band with a width varying between 15 and 36 meters. There is also a wall that descends from 12 to 33 meters deep, forming a narrow plateau that slopes until 42 meters before drops vertically. The name that was given to this site comes from a diver who lost her watch while diving. Several weeks later, it was discovered hanging from a fixed coral in the wall. This dive site is also object of an ongoing monitoring project carried out by the local reef biological field station.
