Vicky’s Reef - Bahamas

Loading...
This dive site is characterized by consisting of a reef that is nothing more than a coral band with a width varying between 15 and 36 meters. There is also a wall that descends from 12 to 33 meters deep, forming a narrow plateau that slopes until 42 meters before drops vertically. The name that was given to this site comes from a diver who lost her watch while diving. Several weeks later, it was discovered hanging from a fixed coral in the wall. This dive site is also object of an ongoing monitoring project carried out by the local reef biological field station.
