Davis Reef aka Davis Ledge - Islamorada FL

Davis Reef is one of the nicest reefs in the area. Noted for its abundance of large green moray eels, and a multitude of tropical fish. Great spot for night dives. (15-30 Ft.)

My husband and I are going to be on Islamorada in March. Never been there before.. Newer divers, sailors at heart.. Any tips? Best place to rent gear?

One of my favorite Keys dives, always fishy, lot’s of critters and easy navigation, just keep the ledge in sight and remember which mooring your boat is tied too and/or the name of the boat. I always use one of the Republic boats from Conch Republic to make it easy :)
