Rescue Diver

Woohoo! I finally made it I am now the proud owner of a rescue diver certification and I have to say it was great fun but knackering! I am now searching for a nice diving holiday for October this year so if any of you have any ideas please let me know as wife is off to India and china with a girl friend and I`ll be left to my own devices! I have been given carte blanche as to where I go and who with - Yes really! So come on and let your imagination run riot....
Nearly finished Rescue Diver

Well I have nearly finished rescue Diver! Done the theory, done all my skills and have just one more day to go full of scenarios! That may be on the 15th March or may be later depending on whther we dive the Key Biscane oil rig wreck on that day or not! Fortuantely I can still type - tired but not broken! Thank you Maggie for checking the life insurance policies with Wendy!!!...
Rottnest Island Lobsters

Well guys I hada great day at Rotto yesterday and even managed to catch two lobsters which I took around to Magdelena`s for dinner! Great dives even though my Air2 decided to freeflow and I had to disconnect it at 25m - Cut the dive time down and had to manually adjust the BCD but didn`t spoil the fun! I am due to do my rescue diver`s course on the 29th Feb!!...

Well I have bitten the bullet and decided to do my Rescue Diver course on Feb 29th A leap of faith you might say ... leap year 29th ??? Oh OK Hopefully I can get one of my buddies here to join me!...

Well yesterday Magdelena, Ningelbrecht and I all went to Rottnest Island for a day`s diving. The skipper took us around to the West End - A site not dived very often because of its distance and depth. "No worries" he said about the current and the wind "She`ll be right" Says he. A quick stride into the water and we were whisked off struggling to hold onto the Mermaid line... OK to go and Nick and I sank down to the bottom and waited for Maggie who was using hire gear and had to go back to the bo...
Haunted Wreck

Yesterday Nick and I went diving on two wrecks off the Coast of Western Australia. The first dive was the Eglington wrecked in the late 19th century. The second was the bul carrier the Alkimos. I got spooked out on the Alkimos with all the noises and weired things going on......
White Pointer White Pointer

I thought that buddies would be interested to see this fabulous picture of a 5m White pointer that appeared in Perth Waters last Sunday 15th July 2007. The picture is not mine but was taken by the skipper of one of the boats. It`s not often that we get White Pointers off Perth so this was a real treat....
