i got back late last night from my weekend trip out to san clemente island (sci). the boat wasn’t quite full, as the horizon sold 28 of the 30 berths available. we left san diego friday night around 10 pm, arriving at window pane on san clemente around 6:30 saturday morning. after the first dive (where both divemasters work the deck), i had the second dive off, so aaron and i geared up and got in the water to check things out. the viz wasn’t great by sci standards, but there was plenty to see - ...

greetings - i haven’t had much time to blog lately, as life has been crazy hectic the past few weeks. i’m still working at DiveUS during the week, and things are going pretty well there. we finished cleaning up the last of the order delivery issues a few weeks back, completed re-organizing the inventory, and added two more people to the team (both really good hires it turns out). at the moment we’re adding products to the estores - bare, mares, and tilos at the moment, with oms and h2o odyssey t...

howdy y`all - late last night i got back from working as a divemaster on one of the horizon`s ocean adventure cruises. when i was at work last tuesday afternoon, one of the guys from the dive shop came up and wanted to know what i had planned for the weekend - my response - yardwork i guess, since my taxes are done. then he asks me if i`m interested in divemastering on a charter this weekend. without even knowing where it was going i said hell yes. turned out it was the horizon, leaving thursday...
