Did two nice dives on the John C Fitzpatrick today. This previously unidentified wreck has been known as the Jug for years. Located about 18 miles southeast of Long Island’s Shinnecock Inlet she rests at 130’. Temperature on the wreck was 50 and with vis about 15 ft. The wreck is pretty broken up, lays low in the sand with very little relief and has a fishing net and gear hung up on it. Todays dives produced a couple of lobster, around 2 lbs, along with some crabs and scallops. Thanks to Capt. Ralph and the crew of the Sidekick for an enjoyable day.
