Dive Site: Russian Freighter about 10 miles off of the coast of Pensacola Fl. This is a great dive. The wreck is a large pile of rubble, but it is still in the outline of the orignal ship. There are 3 large smoke stacks still in tact but laying on their side. Tons of fish to see. Personally saw several Queen Angels, and a school of Baracuda (this was the first time that I`ve personally seen more than one Baracuda at a time.) Others saw an Octopus, I looked for him, but apparantely he was very hidden. This was my first wreck dive, and though it was different than drift diving in the Carribbean it was still very beautiful. Cant wait to go back to FL to dive more wrecks. The ultimate trip? THE ORISKANY!!!
