Due to it being winter, and all, I`ve not really got a whole bunch more to report...EXCEPT that I took Night Diving / Limited Visibility last week, and so I have another course that I must finish with a checkout dive once it warms up around here. I had to forgoe the Deep Diving Course I signed up for, so that I could afford the deposit for Bonaire (which happens in June), but I`m hoping to take it the next time it comes around. Once I take that one, and Wreck Diving, I might be done for now and just focus on getting some dive time in, now that I`ve got a lot of the `book learning` under my belt that I`d wanted. Oh, and...I`m seeing someone now (*blush*), and he`s actually into diving! Alas...he lives in England. So while we`re going to be going to Bonaire together (and just did a scuba skills update when he was here last week to visit, in anticipation of that trip), I am still going to need buddies in my tri-state area. Luckily, I`ve gotten a few inquiries over the past couple of months from people who seem serious about it / like they`ll follow through, so I`m hopeful. I`m also starting a new second job in March, so I should actually have A) the money and B) the time (since I`m off on the weekends) to get some good, consistent diving in! So things are definitely looking up in that area. I`m really looking forward to building up my experience and visiting some new places. :)
