Concerned!!!!!!!!!!!There are several concerns that I have but I am only going to mention one here in this.

My concern here is these internet dive blog sites (not this one but sites like deco stop etc....). You seem to get a lot of people claiming to be something there not and even worse non-divers commenting on diving questions they know nothing about but want to act like they do. I have noticed people also take the number of dives that are shown on these site profiles as gospel. They do not seem to realize that some of the beginners in recreational diving are not exactly beginners but have large amounts of diving experience they are not allowed to disclose for one reason or another (for example ex-military divers).

Personnely I think these people making these bashing comments need to think before they comment because the person writing the blog may have more experiance than they think and because of this all they are telling this person by bashing them is that they are someone that should not be getting in the water much less trying to tell someone else how not to do things that they them selves have not been trained to do.....

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT! I AM JUST WONDERING HOW MANY PEOPLE SHARE MY CONCERN!!!!!

Hah.. There are two times people are going to "big and bad." When they are behind the wheel of a car and when they are behind the keyboard. In both incidences, they don`t have to see anyone face to face. I learned very early on to not let the attitudes of those "Keyboard Bullies" (or keyboard know-it-alls, in this case) get to me. This is the only time they can be that way in their little lives, so I just hit the "ignore" button and move on. That is, of course, after I get a nice chuckle at some of the stupid stuff they say. **D**

Rebel, I have to aguree with you on this one. I am ex-military, but do not count those dives in the rec world. Three main reasons for this...

One, that was 15 years ago...

Two, this is alot different than the diving i did in the military. I didn`t really like diving in the military, it was just part of the job, there was no time to "stop and smell the roses" you had a job, you did it, and you left.

Three, all the advances in the last 15 years. Alot of what i knew before has totally changed.

I have noticed there are alot of divers that bash others just to make themselfs feel better. These people scare the crap out of me. One thing that has not changed is something an old sargent told me one time and i think it applys to just these people...

The day you THINK you know EVERYTHING about SOMETHING, is the day you show the world what a FOOL you really are...

Think about this before you bash someone asking a question next time...

By the way, thats an awsome picture of Blue Grotto in Florida. You have a great camera man (good thing he got a shot of your best side)
