Let me just start by saying wow! Lake Tenkiller its self was absolutely amazing. I arrived at the lake around 12:30 and it was over cast with the temp right around 50 degrees. The water was about the same. I dove off of fisherman’s point at the dive area. I did a shore dive, I started my decent and found the water still very chill even with a 3 mil suit and a 3/5 hood. I dove to 15 foot and discovered that I was having trouble equalizing my ears!!! I have bad sinuses, so I hung out on the bottom at 10 foot and finally POP! There ears were clear. checking out the old trees and large boulders around the 60 ft line. Well below the thermocline, the water temp at 60 was about 42 degrees. I dove for 45 minutes before I had to come up for just being cold. All in all I would have to say it was a great dive. So good I am going back next weekend.
