We have been granted permission by the state of New Jersey to build a dive training site in a quarry in southern New Jersey. This is not a commercial endeavor. It will be a limited use facility at which we will provide dive training for open water and other recreational divers.

We intend to sink a platform at 25 feet. The dive platform will be connected by rope to a series of attachment points to serve as directional training guides. This is sometimes referred to as a diamond reef system.

I am looking for divers interested in helping build this. Any diver who assists will have free access to the site for their own use going forward. While this quarry will not compare to commercial facilities like tjhe ones we all know, use and like in PA, it is a place you’ll be able to get wet at for free.

If you’re interested in assisting please contact me.

Thanks

Pete
