Looking For: Dive buddy - just friends

Brand new to this site. I am in the process of planning a trip to a tropical climate to begin my training in SCUBA. Took the online book portion a couple of years ago and went to Puerto Rico to do the same thing - only problem was the week I was there was the windiest they had seen in years and you couldn’t get on the water. So it’s time to try again.
