I love small, murky mountain lakes. I’m a beginner but plan to do mostly dry suit dives once I get some more experience. Right now my ideal buddy would want to do lots of technique practice sessions in the few nearby warmer water spots, like Blue Lake. My love of aquatic microbiology is what propels me to dive, and so I think every body of water from Great Salt Lake to a little alpine pond would be fun to dive in once I get the equipment and skills to do so safely. More popular spots like Bear Lake or Sand Hollow would be great too.

No interest in cave diving, ice diving, or deep diving. Could be persuaded into taking up spear fishing.
