Why did you begin scuba diving? Did a scuba diving friend or family member finally talk you into it? Was it something you’ve always wanted to do? Was it required for a job?

[Choose #5] I was on on vacation in DR and tried it because I seen they offers it. I spent a half hour I’m a pool and 45 minutes at -60’ and loved every second of it. Ever since then I was hooked.

[Choose #5] I started to work at a dive shop as a sales girl but never dived in my life. So my boss made me do a DSD (discover scuba diving program) so that I knew what I was selling. I then decided to take the Open Water course. Now I am a diving Instructor.

[Choose #5] Did a tourist dive in Langkawi, Malaysia, and got hooked. Later, a friend told me about a good dive shop in my home town. Went to visit, and became comfortable with their NAUI courses. Soon, I passed my Basic Open Water Certification.

[Choose #4] I was walking throught he mall just before Christmas and one of the shops had a display and a few people set up. They were running a dive video and I was hooked. I don’t know if it was the video, or the enthusiasm of the particular instructor.
