Facility and staff are awesome. Great picnic and play areas for family. Good for snorkeling as well as diving. The snorkeling is a plus as family who joins may not be divers. Two locations to dive from. Offers a couple of decent caverns to explore. One located in each of the two dive spots. The diving is on the shallow side with depths outside the caverns/caves being around 5 feet. It does offer cave diving. Perhaps the real gem of Ginnie Springs for those who are able.

Dove Ginnie 12/2/2023 OW only. It pretty much lived up to the hype. Other than some initial confusion as to which spring to dive to find the caverns we were interested in seeing, the place was pretty good. We did a half tank in four different springs, hitting caverns and then making our way down shallow streams into the darker river and playing there for a while before heading back into the springs. Facilities are great. Will definitely make return visit.

I went scuba diving here on 9/30/2023.
The Ballroom was amazing. This is a breathtaking site a must see.

Dove Ginnie Springs and Divels Ear. Interesting dive once. Poor separation and accommodation for Scuba divers and swimmers. Many gear/tank setup benches were used for non-diving use. Gear wagon recommended.

Thursday 5/7/2020 - Graham and I staged to Double Lines, and on our way out we used some more gas to go to the end of the Bone line before calling the dive. At that point we had a good 30” of deco built up. It was my first dive in 2 months since the COVID-19 pandemic caused social distancing and isolation. It felt great to be back in the caves, however, the flow was up, and the next day I was a bit sore! 😜😬

Great dive with Graham to the Double Lines. When we got out to the Hill 400 line, we turned and did the Double Lines again back to our jump and stage bottles. We had about a 40" deco. :-(

Tues. 10/8/2019 - Graham and I staged to Double Lines, back onto the Hill 400 line, and then we ran a line to the Syphon and explored it for a while. It appears as though some new line work is going on there. Had 24" of deco for a total dive time of 132".

Looking for a dive buddy (Ginnie Springs) for this Thursday, 12 September. I have never been here so I am thinking a dive in the morning then another in the afternoon. Hope the conditions are good!

Great dive, crystal clear when we entered. No other divers or swimmers until after we returned, then, only a few. Noticed line changes and double arrows at certain jumps have been removed.

Looking for a dive buddy on 11 Sept. I want to dive at Blue Grotto & Devils Den on 12 Sept. but I can swap locations on the 11th & 12 Sep. Never been to these locations. Possibly do multiple dives at each.

Been here several times now and it was a great time, even if your not doing cave work.

Liked this dive very much. Part of my cavern training. Love the ear (or eye, since they were marked wrong originally) had to pull myself into the cave.

Did a nice drift dive from the devil’s system to Ginnie proper.

I went scuba diving here on 2/8/2007. Average viz: 91-100ft/28-30m. Water temp: 71-75°F/22-24°C.
You can 1-tank dive through Ballroom - Little Devil/Devil’s Eye/Devil’s Ear if you are good at air conservation. You have to exit and drive between Ballroom & the Devils, and snorkle between the Devils.

Ballroom Cavern is quite large. 2 "rooms": Main room is all visible and lit from the opening, room to the left of the opening will need diving lights to see.

The Devils are crevices with strong natural spring outflow to the Santa Fe river. You need to physically "climb" down Devil’s Ear, the flow is so strong. There is a "NO LIGHTS" rule in the Devils. You need a guide and cave certification to dive lower than the skull & crossbone signs.
