I am currently a PADI "AI" awaiting my shot at the IE. So as soon as my schedule allows, it’s off to some place cool to see if I’ve got what it takes to be a PADI OWSI. I’m part of a pretty darn good team of instructors at Sterling Silver Scuba in, of all places; Sterling VA! I am currently training under the tutelage of KevinD to earn my MSDT, EFR and various other ratings and hope to become a more than competent professional in that arena as well.
Other than that; I am an Officer in the US Army Reserve (Former NCO) a business owner and a pretty laid back guy all around. I’d rather crack wise than crack open a book! So the bottom line is this; if you are in Northern VA and ever need a dive buddy to hit the local quarry or a trip down to the coast....look me up!

Oh Yeah! Wow Thats really cool. I bet there weren’t many people riding bmx bikes back then. Do you still have the BMX bike? Yeah, I grew up riding bikes with my brother and some of my friends got into too. I really enjoy bike riding, it’s so fun.

Originally we had plan to go to Cozumel for a week early April. But my son is doing JV or varsity soccer in his HS plus his travel team soccer at the same time. So most likely, we will postpone the trip to June.

November, I am heading to the Philippines for a couple of weeks of diving.I will be on a liveaboard for a Visayas safari (Malapascua, Moalboal, Apo Island, Panglao and Cabilao). Visayas is the middle part of the Philippines. And then do a resort dive in Anilao (2 hrs land trip from Manila) for the little critters.

I am hoping you will lead a group to NC diving this summer too. Let me know if you are planning a trip there.

Enjoy Domican Republic. Eliel

Rob,

Good to hear from you. Any immediate dive plans?

Hey! Thanks for asking. I think I hit 100. Instead of downloading my computer as a lifetime count, I downloaded each trip. So now I have to go manually figure it out. How’s it going? I just came back from a live-aboard dive trip to Turks & Caicos just 5 days after Hurricane Ike (and Hannah, just before it) hit the islands. Lots of coral/sponge damage, and the visibility was between 40-60 feet. But it was still great. I accidentally hit 120’ on one of my dives; scared the XXXX out of me! When and where is your next dive trip? It would be fun to go with you guys again (Aaron, Vee, you ...). I was told that I was supposed to dive naked for my 100th, but since I didn’t have my full log book, I wasn’t sure if I was going to hit it on this trip. Oh well, I guess I’ll save it for the next night dive. LOL Ami

Hey dude, how many tequilas have you had! LOL My b’day isn’t until December. So I can count this as a late b’day greeting from last year, or an early one for this year. Did you mean to send this to someone else?

My trip to Turks & Caicos is coming up quick ... September. Live-aboard Explorer II. TV crew on board filming a pilot for a new show ... live-aboard from the crews’ point of view. I might actually be on TV.

Hope to see you soon. I’ll be hitting 100 dives soon, and will want to take the rescue diver class and whatever to get my master diver cert.

=)
