Planning to dive at Epcot but wondering what other diving may be near by?

When I am in this area I tend to stick to the springs, but a cavern course is good to have so you can really explore some of the spring, I took one last year. Going to try and do my cave course while in Fla this year. When in Fla I always take a trip to the Blue Heron bridge, great shore dive, but I am thinking its a couple hours from Orlando. Also lots of boat operators in the Pompano area and a bit north of there, but again, it will be a bit of a drive.

when i go to that area i head to daytona area an do some diving with some friends out that way

I cannot think of any good diving real close to Orlando except Blue Springs closed to divers soon as for it is a winter sanctuary for manatees. Lots of springs to dive in central and N Florida on your trip down or back. West Palm and Jupiter S. E. of Orlando or Key Largo and Tavernier Fl. Going anywhere else might be disappointing from my experience. As for Daytona they have a great beach but have never dove there since I have not heard of any great diving.

We dive in daytona off the inlet, we have seen sharks among other sea life..... http://www.seadogdiver.com/
