Diving isn’t the only time I travel with hotels or condos or whatever type of lodging. I think you have landed on something here that I hadn’t really noticed, other than package trips being listed per person with double or quad occupancy expected.
I tend to shop around and don’t always stay at a resort facility. Sometimes it’s the best option, but if they are so outrageous in rates, then I look for other options that may allow me to stay longer if I like.
Now that I am thinking about this I will probably pay a bit more attention to it. When I do book somewhere else for a specific reason I let the primary outfitter know why. Figure that’s the only way the market will drive products at prices we find approachable.
Happy diving all, but it’s now snowboarding season... so that’s really where my attention lays.. lol
