What she needs to do is to go to who ever is taking care of her diabetes problem and get a physical and get OK for diving. You will hear all kinds of BS from "people who know people with diabetes". Let it go in one ear and out the other. People with diabetes usually take much better care of them selves than the so called healthy people.
