Hope it all works out. I’m waiting for warm weather to get my AOW hopefully this year. I could get that in a couple days in the Caribbean, but want to get better instruction up here.
It’s not uncommon for special needs divers to switch instructors. Some instructors specialize in issues, some don’t.
Y swimming with a snorkel really helped my diving. Plenty of mask flooding and purging drills helped. Pulling off a mask on the bottom of the Ocean, looking around, then putting it back on comfortably was part of every check out dive that I did.
Forgot my dive card on a boat dive once. And the mask thing at 30’ test, was how he decided that I was good enough to go diving.
