If you’ll be diving in a lot of cold water make sure the reg you buy is rated for it. You may want an environmental kit if it’s available for the reg you buy or if it doesn’t already have it. The yoke you want depends on the tanks available to you in rental or any that you own. As far as being balanced or unbalanced I think the previous features will determine that.
