From ELLOCODIABLO: Northeast scuba supply has some oms and dive rite storage pockets for a decent price
Like you I don’t like stuff hanging on the outside of my BC, the exception being the compass and a brass clip used for a tank banger.
I got a pair of used OMS pockets from NESS for $50, Each has one small Velcro’d pocket two zippered pockets, one is meant for weights and has a drop pull, don’t put your $100 dive light in that unless you sew up the bottom!
If you do use a fanny pack you’ll need to put some bigger pulls on the zippers if you are wear gloves.
