Mike, me being a Jersey diver 30’ viz sounds great but I do spend a lot of time in Florida and I’ve avoided the green side. This past January I spent a month in Homosassa visiting my grandkids and got into a conversation with a Crystal River Kayak tour operator who is a diver with his own boat and he was telling me about some ledges offshore with great diving but again being the Gulf side it’s a long ride, shallow and low (for Florida) viz. I did add those sites to the map but there is no dive op going there :(
I also heard from someone else about a secret hole in the Crystal River area, deep, good viz but I haven’t been able to find it on the map. They had given me the street name but I didn’t write it down thinking I would remember that :(
We camp in Pahookee at Lake Okeechobe during the winter and dive BHB a lot, if you want to meet in the middle and ride with us let me know but that detour might be as long as driving there yourself.
