Trip suggestion for August - I would tell you either Thailand or the Philippines. But the weather is not great in either place in August. If you want to try Thailand, do the area north of Phuket - see if you can find a web site for Sea Dragon dive center. In the Philippines, I usually dive the wrecks at Subic Bay or the wrecks at Coron. But there are also other good coral dive sites also.
