It will work under the correct setup. As long as the owner keeps to his limitations and is open about it I don’t see it being to much of a problem. I had a local dive shop that had an owner that was also an instructor but he didn’t have the ability to affectively instruct. He did have staff that were knowledgeable and friendly and that was the only reason I went there.
