My friend and I went to San Pedro, an island that’s a 20 minute plane hop from the Belize City airport. We stayed on the beach at the Mayan Princess and Amigos Del Mar is located right out the back door. Amigos will rinse your gear for you and store it at night so you never have to schlep. They offer trips to nearby reefs as well as the Blue Hole. They usually have coffee, fruit and rolls for breakfast and one day my buddy overslept and the dive master ran up to our room to wake her up. Everything was easy.
