A looking around I have done it would appear this is a warm water wetsuit or may be used as an undersuit for drysuit divers. It appears that it is an older style now replaced by Henderson’s Hotskins line that offer the same idea, lined undersuit to keep you warmer, or on its own as a warmer water suit. It is probably a 1mm or 2mm thickness, there may be a label indicating that on it somewhere, but it could be thicker. From what I can find the polartech refers to the lining in it.
Without seeing it that is the best I can suggest based on what I know and what I have looked at that Henderson offers. I would say Henderson got rid of this line around 2006 as I found some old adds from dive shops offer discount prices on the suit, which is often what happens when a company changes its line. The price for one I saw ws 99$ in 2007.
If you have some pictures you could post of it that might help with identifying it better
